Bob Sheppard, who some called the "Voice of God," died today at age 99. You don't have to be a Yankee fan to appreciate Bob Sheppard, the voice of Yankee Stadium for over 50 years and my entire baseball memory. For me, hearing his voice meant that I was in one of my favorite places and life was good. We'll miss you, Bob!!!!
